Travel, in my own words

I’m Charlotte Millington, a Canadian traveller based in Victoria, British Columbia. I travel solo, pack light, and come home with photographs, opinions, and more things to think about than I left with.

A walk, a coffee, and somewhere to be curious.

The trip is only part of the story

I’m interested in the places I visit and the ordinary decisions that shape a trip: where to stay, what earns its space in my bag, and how to make time to go in the first place. I write about what I notice, what works for me, and what I would think twice about next time.

Family is part of that story, too. I’m a mother and grandmother. Home matters to me, even when I’m looking forward to leaving it for a while.
